Job Description

Nicholls Moisa is representing global giant insurance industry working alongside with a global car manufacturer. The client is looking for a Junior Product Owner who will work within a highly dynamic multi-national environment and actively supports a digital marketing team.


As the Junior product owner, you will be responsible for:


  • Specify acceptance criteria and user stories for features and ensure delivery of requirements that meet/exceed business needs.
  • Support the Programme Owner in product and release planning, product road mapping, description of requirements and reactive work such as maintenance updates, issue management, cost optimization and tackling technical debt.
  • Working under the mentorship of a Programme Owner and Business Analyst, in this role you will participate in, and influence, projects to extend and enhance our line of digital insurance and internal solutions.
  • Ensure business value is defined in all development and release plans and requirements.
  • Prepare mock-ups and presentations for Senior Management and internal teams to communicate product features and functionality.
  • Manage product backlog and ensure proper documentation has been prepared and delivered.
  • Endure proper documentation of features and manage the roll-out of details to internal teams.
  • Attend requirements gathering meetings, present capabilities and features, gather requirements and identify gaps.
  • Work closely with the Programme Owner, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, QAs, your team mates and business users to understand and define business needs.
  • Gather and analyse requirements to create user stories and mock-ups that accurately represent the business users’ needs and priorities.




  • A bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience as a product owner or business analyst, ideally within a software environment.
  • Shipped at least one product with a user interface.
  • Experience uncovering and gathering technical and business requirements from end-users and/or internal business users.
  • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM development environments.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience developing low-fidelity mock-ups, product feature presentations and documenting user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria and workflows.
  • Experience in validating and ensuring baseline user stories and acceptance criteria are met upon iterative releases and shipments.
