What is expected of you?

  • Maintain high performing service support functions
  • Take ownership of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensure high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establish service improvement activities when required
  • Champion Service and Support in all projects and develop a strong understanding of the impact of projects in the delivery of service
  • Drive internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes
  • Support the Group InfoSec Officer in the definition and enforcement of end user security, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
  • Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of Group-wide IT/IS solutions
  • Advise on options, risks, impact and cost vs. benefit analysis of IT/IS solutions to business processes
  • Define the Standard Desktop Environment for use with key corporate applications, ensure regular SDE performance testing
  • Work with the infrastructure team to evolve standards for hardware, software and security in the desktop environment
  • Make recommendations for Service Improvement Plans and ensure actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner
  • Effectively deliver/manage Staff Management including recruitment, mentoring, training, target setting and performance assessment 
  • Design SLAs for IT Services Delivery, negotiate and regularly maintain them with business representatives and other stakeholders. 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Experienced Service Management professional with a passion for Service Improvement
  • ITIL Qualified with expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines
  • Previous experience as a Team Lead or demonstrable experience in leading virtual teams
  • Service Management or Support in a diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines
  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours working
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and support
  • Basic understanding of information security principles and concepts
  • Capability to coordinate the activities on the group level Infrastructure projects and the interface between Group IT, the office of the COO and other company’s departments
