Product Owner


£45,000 + bonus


We are looking for a new Product Owner Manager in Gib to join the market leader within the gaming / gambling industry.

As the hired Product Owner, will lead the creation, development, prioritisation and delivery of all new developments items, change requests and bug fixes in conjunction with our Platform providers, other Product Owners and any external partners or contractors in our employ.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years in a Product development / owner role in an online environment essential; ideally gained within the online gaming industry
  • Bachelors/ Master’s degree in a business or technology discipline desirable
  • Considerable experience of taking the business lead in the development of requirements and delivery of high profile projects with complete knowledge of software development lifecycles
  • Understanding of all aspects of the Gaming platform, including: system configuration, reporting and bonus features
  • Proven track record of bringing about significant business improvement within ecommerce roles
  • Strong leadership skills, in particular the ability lead cross functional teams and inspire high performance from colleagues
  • Ability to come up with ideas/concepts and suggestions/improvements and follow these through to implementation.
  • Be tactful and persuasive, allowing you to manage stakeholders' expectations, and refuse requests when required.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Owning the end to end Platform development roadmap working directly with our stakeholders and other Product Owners to ensure all improvements are prioritised and completed according to business needs and are thoroughly tested before release
  • Drive a single development roadmap for all Platform based BAU small enhancements as well as prioritizing all medium and large items across all Brands.
  • Be the first point of contact for all stakeholders for Platform related change requests, enhancements, new developments and bug fixes
  • Be the gate keeper for all new developments, enhancements and bug fixes for Bede Platform to ensure that all items raised have clear business value and their impact has been completely investigated and justified
  • Prioritise the complete roadmap of work based on business needs, compliance concerns and profitability and be the ultimate decision maker on Sprint contents and focus for the Bede Platform Team and BFF backlog
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure readiness to hand over to development as well as report on progress or roadblocks for each ticket
