Digital Marketing Manager

Southwest London

£40,000-50,000 (Depending on experience)


Reporting to: Head of Customer Engagement Solutions


Staff responsibility: 0


The role:

The right candidate will be responsible for driving growth through our key digital marketing activities (B2B and B2C).


As a core part of the marketing team, you will be proactively managing the design, development and implementation of online marketing strategies to acquire new customers, retain current customers and grow revenue performance from our digital platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

The role will specifically take responsibility for the following;

  • Design, deliver and measure online acquisition strategies which grow our target customer base
  • Design, deliver and measure SEO, PPC, e-mail and social media strategies which create a significant digital footprint and customer advocacy which drives brand presence and new customer enquiries
  • Work with the Content Marketing Manager to deliver content marketing strategies for growth which support SEO optimisation and engage customers with the product and service offering and our points of differentiation
  • Manage the hygiene and effective use of the customer database
  • Manage external agency relationships and KPI delivery
  • Collaborate with internal data teams to develop a responsive reporting dashboard to give visibility and insight on critical KPIs
  • Provide monthly reporting on digital revenue, ROMI, campaigns, acquisition, churn etc.
  • Work closely with the rest of the digital marketing team, sales and the tele sales team to manage multi-channel customer engagement effectively, putting the customer at the heart of decisions
  • Define and build the brand and proposition to create differentiation which drives switching behaviour away from competitors
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Management of the marketing budget for digital campaigns and respective agencies


The Right Candidate:

  • Up to 5 years digital marketing experience
  • Results focused and analytical: Passionate about return on investment. Uses customer insight to drive profitable marketing activity
  • Excellent written and oral communication: must have the ability to turn complex reports into clear and concise communications.
  • Experience in measuring direct marketing campaigns – control groups, AB testing and ROI measurement.
  • Experience in managing email marketing campaigns and programs: targeting, developing creative that is well optimised and on brand.
  • Experienced in digital marketing techniques such as SEO, PPC etc
  • Budget management
  • Good team working skills and ability to work as an effective member of cross functional teams
  • Good problem solver
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude
