Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing digital marketing Agency with a focus on the iGaming industry! They are looking to build a new team in Malta and they are recruiting a Head of Commercial.
 
Commercial is the most effective and fast-pace evolving units within the Company. You are invited to join a smart team of bright individuals who deal with the identification and development of business opportunities and the profitable management of projects, from inception to completion.
 
This role will closely work with our leadership team. Head of Commercial and Partnership will be on top of all the projects and will guide and coach the Commercial team for the future success.
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Own and manage commercial projects
  • Lead and supervise commercial account executives
  • Acquire new partners in accordance with internal procedures and expand partners base
  • Negotiate and optimize deals with partners
  • Own market and product delivery coordination
  • Adhere to multiple KPI’s (conversions, values, min. product features, etc)
  • Be in regular contact with key accounts for better communication
  • Analyse activity under deals to ensure forecasted revenues are met
  • Actively participate on industry events Prepare custom reports and presentations
  • Initiate new ideas to improve relationships with partners
  • Lead efforts with established partners in Cart platform space and develop new partnerships in the CRO space; working with Business Development and Partner Sales to build new personalized shopping experiences for our 220M+ consumers.
  • Be comfortable presenting and frequently interacting with senior executives both inside and outside the company and provide thought leadership towards delightful and personalized customer experiences.
  • Identify key industry trends and strategic opportunities working with partners in the e-Commerce space.
  • Be data driven, analyze usage and financial data to identify opportunities and define business cases for build / buy / distribute partnerships on a global basis.
  • Effectively execute working with execution partners from other product teams: product managers, engineering leaders and designers.
  • Partner with engineering teams to build right level of instrumentation and tracking to enable the level of experimentation and analytics needed for such product launches.
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams and other related product managers, designers and engineers to ensure iterative yet continuous delivery.
  • Work cross-organizationally with sales, product marketing, marketing, customer support, operations, legal, compliance, risk management and other functional areas, to ensure alignment with go-to-market activities

 
Qualifications:
 

  • A minimum of 12 to 16 years of experience as Head of Commerce/ Partnership/ Sales/ Business Development
  • Fluent in English (an additional language would be a bonus)
  • Effective sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong team management and partnership management skills
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills
  • MSc degree Business Management/MBA
  • Data drive - Ability to read and process large quantities of data
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Flexibility in travelling abroad
  • Experience working with Senior Management
  • People Management
