A background in leading Compliance within a heavily Customer orientated organisation is key. You will be an experienced team leader and able to manage conflicting priorities often with tight deadlines. You will have the ability to delegate effectively within your team and work collaboratively with other key stakeholders within the business.
About your role
You will be responsible for ensuring the business is compliant with industry, legal and regulatory requirements covering a wide range of regulatory bodies and industry best practices. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders ensuring activities are carried out in accordance with the Gambling Commission and Information Commissioner’s Office requirements such as;
You will oversee a team of Compliance staff who have responsibilities relating to various areas of regulation. You will have the responsibility of communicating issues and project updates to the senior leadership within the business accounting for the various levels of knowledge and required detail.
Another important aspect of this position is to develop risk management processes, undertake gap analysis, and work alongside existing teams to check compliance with both internal policies, legalities and gambling legislation.
Where does your role fit in?
As a leader within the risk and compliance team you will be assisting the business with both it’s legal and moral obligations to safeguard its employees and customer’s and aiding the company in adhering to its three licensing objectives to;
You will report to the Director of Risk and Compliance. This role will be based in central Nottingham at Buzz Bingo’s head office. Both you and your team will be responsible for supporting the business at all levels from communicating with clubs and customers to advising senior leadership on data and regulatory issues.
