Purpose of the Role: Reporting to the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Marathonbet brand working alongside other teams to ensure that the brand is always represented in a consistent and appropriate manner. 
Assisting the Brand team’s campaigns and approving a wide range of branded communications – both online and offline – are central to this role.
Key Responsibilities:

•Approving campaigns (from a variety of different jurisdictions) from a brand perspective ensuring artwork and copy meet with Brand guidelines 

•Working with the Brand Manager to execute brand campaign activity across online and offline channels•Initiate and develop innovative brand activation ideas

•Leverage partnerships to help achieve group and departmental objectives

•Ensuring that brand led activity meets brand guidelines, drives maximum ROI and desired campaign metrics

•Where applicable, identify new opportunities which help enhance recognition and affiliation of partner brands•Building upon and maintaining relationships with external agencies on a daily basis

•Providing regular progress reports on campaign performance 

•Work closely with other members of the Brand team to help deliver timely and effective campaigns

•Contributing to projects and initiatives designed to improve brand perception, increase brand awareness and improve acquisition

•Assisting with the production and maintenance of Brand Audits for all partner clubs

•Be a point of contact within the Brand team, as well as other key internal and external stakeholders
Other Responsibilities:

•Escalating issues to the Brand Manager as appropriate•Keeping abreast of professional knowledge by maintaining personal networks and studying developments within the industry

•Participating in training as appropriate to maintain own professional expertise and CPD

•Working on Social, PR or other Marketing / Brand tasks as and when needed 

•Undertaking other reasonable duties as instructed by Senior Management

Required Skills and Abilities:

•Excellent communication and English written skills with people at all levels of the business•A minimum of two years working in marketing, including experience of working with and briefing design / media agencies

•Knowledge of what makes a successful brand

•Excellent understanding of best practice for Marketing communications

•Strong numerical skills, with the ability to creatively interpret ROI results

•Excellent sports knowledge

•Good research skills, with the ability to spot emerging trends

•Outstanding attention to detail, including proofreading skills 

•Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships

•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point)

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines•Punctuality, reliability and flexibility

•Team player, passionate, energetic

Desirable Skills and Abilities:

•CIM or equivalent qualification (not essential)•Knowledge and experience in Marketing / Brand within the gambling industry 

Other requirements:

•On occasions, must be flexible and able to work in the evenings and during weekends if required
