In this role you will be an integral member of the operations tech team that manages the operational side of all the trading activities and interacts with various internal groups and external parties. You will be directly supporting a high-volume trading platform across a varied suite of products and asset classes, and you will gain an in-depth understanding of the flow of the trading and settlement cycle, as well as the regulatory, operational, technology and risk considerations of each step. In addition, you will acquire fundamental knowledge in how modern electronic markets work and you will get familiar with industry’s market data and order entry systems. You will be provided with all the required training to build a strong career profile and you will be given responsibilities at an early stage and can expect to have a significant amount of direct involvement with firm’s processes and high level of ownership. Requirements: You have a strong quantitative foundation and you attained a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, etc.). You have exposure to programming and SQL databases, and you are keen in expanding your technical skills (Python, Matlab, Octave, R). You can debug and analyse problems quickly and under pressure and you are sceptical by nature and have a high attention to detail. You have good organizational and interpersonal skills and you are able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You really enjoy the idea of automating common tasks and preparing for the unexpected. You will become an automation geek and you would not want to do the same task twice, manually. You are willing to learn, you can think critically, and you are striving for continuous improvement. You really like to work with people who challenge you and make you better at what you do.
