Job Purpose - Work with the team to enable continuous delivery of working and valuable software into production. Key Responsibilities: Review current adoption of Scrum practices within a development team (12-18 Engineers). Benchmark current state by producing empirical and qualitative evidence. Come up with recommendations/timescales for improvement and work with the team to continuously implement those improvements. Coach Development team and Product Owners on effective user story writing, utilising a range of techniques such as impact mapping, story mapping, etc. Coach Product Owners to help them define and share product vision with the development team, thus ensuring that everybody is aligned and works towards a common goal. Create a transparent, open and honest environment that encourages knowledge sharing and collaboration through the use of physical Agile artifacts (Post-it notes, visible release plans, SCRUM boards, etc.) Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies with a focus on collaboration and empowering people, as opposed to just doing administrative tasks around the ceremonies and JIRA. Foster culture of continuous improvement with an emphasis on psychological safety and continuous learning through experimentation. Create a fun and creative environment, whilst maintaining the output and focus on the delivery. Shield the team from distractions. Remove impediments. Follow through with retrospective actions. Continuously review progress against the benchmarks (agile health reports). Remove any barriers within the teams, thus enabling a close cooperation across all roles and functions that surround the team. Required Skills: Certified Scrum Master Effective stakeholder management. Ability to influence others to achieve a common goal. Experience of working in the enterprise environment with dozens of interdependent software systems. Evidence of pro-active contribution to the Agile movement (blogs, articles, presentations, etc.) Experience of implementing Agile on a large scale (Safe, Less). Clear understanding of LEAN startup methodology and feedback loops. Advanced JIRA user (workflows, schemes, fields, etc) Clear understanding of continuous software delivery lifecycle.
